Hey, everyone. Armin here. It's nice to meet you if we haven't yet.

I've heard some talk of calendars being created before the new year. Lately I've been trying to practice my photography, so I figured I might offer my services in case anyone is interested. I'm still very new to it. We didn't have cameras where I grew up, so I figure this could be a great way to practice.

If you insist. Do you have anything in your portfolio to share so far?

Only a few things. I found myself taking a lot of pictures on my phone when I first arrived, so I decided to get a proper camera once I had the means for one. Not that the camera on the phone is anything short of amazing.

I have a few prints in a physical portfolio. Honestly, I've been a bit nervous to show anyone.

I'd like to see them, but only if you're comfortable sharing. No pressure.

Would you like to come over sometime soon? We can discuss your photoshoot as well - maybe take some practice photos?

We could even go swimming afterward.

[And tomorrow afternoon she does indeed show up at Armin's door! Wearing a red and black bikini with monster patterns on it - tentacles, werewolves, vampires, the works. No titans though!!]

[Armin opens the door; honestly, he'd been expecting Evangeline to change once she got there, so the bikini is a bit of a surprise, even given their planned activity. His expression isn't unpleasant, though. He smiles, holding the door open to allow her inside.]

Hey, Evangeline. That's an awfully unique suit.

I like it.

[It gets a lot of compliments and stands out! She smiles at him as she steps inside.]

How've you been doing lately?

MK. I don't think we've met.

I'm doing just fine. [He may not have meant that a month ago. Things are still hard, but...He's doing better. Not for long.]

Can I get you anything? I have tea and coffee. Some snacks too.

[She looks all ready to go. It's a bit difficult to picture her lounging and drinking tea in this outfit. Still! It's polite to offer.]

Ooh, what kind of snacks do you have?

[Joke's on you, she would lounge around completely naked eating snacks if it were convenient for her. ...Probably not in front of Armin, that might fluster him a little too much.]

[It certainly would. He'd probably insist that she didn't, actually.]

What sort of snacks do you like? I've been doing a lot of baking since I got here, so I have some cookies and things like that. There are some chips and things from the store too.

You have home-baked cookies? I'd have to be crazy to say no to that.

[Genuinely impressed! She can't cook or bake for shit.]

I do, yes. [He looks quite proud of himself when he says this.]

I'll go get them. Just one second. [And he holds up a finger, then disappears into his modest kitchen for a moment to retrieve them.

[Returning with the tin, he hands it to Evangeline.]

Sugar cookies and chocolate peppermint cookies. I guess that flavor is pretty popular around this time of year.

Oh, yeah, it is getting close to Christmas. -Do they have Christmas where you're from?

[Munching on a sugar cookie.] This is super good!

[He shakes his head.]

No. Nothing like that.

There are celebrations at the end of winter, but I really haven't seen all that many similarities between the two.

Christmas is nice, at least. Getting friends gifts and spending time with your loved ones... It's a good holiday. Probably my favorite.

Honestly, we don't have all that many holidays back home at all. Christmas certainly sounds like a nice one, though.

Actually, I believe Captain Levi's birthday is the 25th as well. I'll have to do something a little extra for him.

Oh, is it? Happy birthday to him.

I'm not great at picking out gifts, honestly. Is there anything you want?

Oh. Me?

[Armin shakes his head on reflex.]

That's alright, Evangeline. I really have enough as it is. I don't need anything.

[He'll definitely be getting her something, however.]
