Ah, well... it's more in a "there's already established groups" sort of way rather than like.

Something you'd see in Mean Girls. So sometimes it feels awkward trying to befriend those people.

Admittedly, I've made little effort here to change that for myself. I've only one friend here and otherwise my apprenticeship.

Really good movie from the early 2000s in my world that deals with girls in cliques. I don't know if this world has that exact movie or an equivalent, though.

I see. Regrettably, I'm not familiar with movies. Even if I could rent a tape, I don't know anyone who has a VCR that they can part with. I haven't seen any VCRs in this world either.

VCRs and VHSes are extremely outdated. If you're going to watch a movie, you're most likely either going to see it online through the devices or you'd be buying a disc with its respective player, whether that would be a DVD disc or a Bluray disc.
