Mainly, what abilities are you most interested in and why? Everyone has their reasons to choose what they want to aim for first, of course, and I'm curious how you came up with a solution.

I am definitely interested in learning how to make a shield. I already have defensive abilities, but knowing how to use the seasonal ones incase I cannot use my own would be reassuring. But I won't deny that I'm curious about controlling the clouds and eventually weather based around them. It sounds something out of a fairytale, almost.

I have a question. Is living in the starter apartments usually this crazy? Just in a month we've had a fire alarm and then some incident with a giant hand appearing from the side of the building. I think someone was dangling from the hand, too, before dropping down with it...

I want a permanent home, a full, happy marriage and a long, long period of peace. I want it to be so peaceful that one day I admit I'm bored. That's when I will go on another adventure to fight a monster or find a rare treasure. There will always be troublesome spirits roaming about and considering my position...

We're a week into the new year already, and I'm sure many of us have made resolutions. One of mine is that I want to try and become stronger.

I bought a Potion of New Powers, but realised that I don't really have a good understanding of what powers are out there in the worlds represented by us. Others among us may be struggling with the same thing, so I want to invite those whose worlds feature powers that would help us and Ellipsa to share information about them - if you'd be willing to give your blessing for others to attain them, that is.

Went gift shopping today, debating whether to get this for myself. On the one hand, speaking as a (former?) employee of Lobotomy Corporation, I think it's hilarious. On the other hand, it might prompt questions like 'why do you own that', 'why was your job named Lobotomy Corporation', and 'did they actually do lobotomies there'. Which I don't mind answering, but literally any time my job comes up it'll probably depress the other person in the conversation, so. Thoughts?

[After learning about the future of her homeworld (not everything, but enough to know that there will be war between Paradis Island and Marley), Frieda had initially comforted herself with the thought that her (and Eren's) continued absence would at least erase the worst of all dangers - if they were allowed to remain here in Ellipsa. If not... well, she's been trying not to think about that.

Over the last couple of months, however, a few potential avenues have opened up to maybe accomplish what she hardly dared to hope for: To free their world of the titans without sacrificing her people in the process. Having spoken to the (most likely) only person who might be able to directly help, and having explored several of the dimensions more recently opened for investigation, she needs to speak to the other Eldians in Nightwake, no longer wanting to decide everyone's fate over their heads.

After getting a crash course in how to set up a conference call, invitation messages arrive in the inbox of Eren Jaeger, Erwin Smith, Falco Grice, Jean Kirstein, Levi Ackerman, and Reiner Braun - all the Eldians in Ellipsa Frieda is aware of. They all can see who the other attendees will be, and the brief text asks them to forward the invitation to any other Eldians who may be present in this world - unbeknownst to Frieda, that's Bertholdt Hoover, Marco Bott, Mikasa Ackerman and Sasha Braus.

Whether they accept or decline the invitation, before long, the day and time of the conference call arrives... a pop-up notice informs the attendants that the meeting will be recorded!]

I have a question to pose... and do take your time in considering your response. It is of no worldly importance, but I feel such a question demands more than a cursory answer.

[Neuvillette's voice is calm and pleasant and his expression is placid. He's easily recognisable to those who know him, and to anyone who might have seen him at work in the Amberfall library]

What does the term 'Justice' mean to you?

[A beat.]

Not the word alone, but the concept itself. The land I hail from names itself the Nation of Justice, and I have been the one charged with carrying out the law of that nation for some time. I have always considered the application of the law to be absolute regardless of my own feelings, at least until... recent times, but events here have brought the uncertainty of such things to the forefront of my mind once again.

[He imagines that some people here will have some thoughts regarding the question he's posing.]

I understand that 'right' and 'wrong' cannot always be quantified so easily. I am curious about the opinions of other people here.

[This address to the network comes from what may be an unexpected trio: Frieda, Jade, and Shadow, tuning in from the summer guild building in Solarpeak. Frieda looks excited and nervous, Jade calm yet somewhat smug, and Shadow impassive as usual... though those who know him can perhaps tell that he seems quite content. Frieda speaks first, adjusting the camera a little.]

Everybody, we have very happy news to share with you all. It's taken a lot of preparation, and the negotiations were challenging, but under the leadership of Dawn, we were able to establish a peace treaty between our merfolk allies and the sirens of the Great Ocean Lake.

[Shadow nods.]

During our research in the underground library, I uncovered that both races used to rule the Great Ocean Lake together until the siren prince was murdered, an act that led to enmity and war. However, we were able to uncover that the murderer was not a mermaid, but a third party. Dawn suspects the one known as "the Wizard" to be behind it.

[Jade offers a polite but just slightly-too-sharp smile.]

Consider this a public service announcement regarding the Great Ocean Lake being somewhat safer to travel in now... somewhat.

[Frieda casts him a glance as if she'd like to admonish him - he could stand to present this immense progress in a brighter light! -, and Shadow takes the opportunity for a closing comment:]

While the lake still holds plenty of other dangers, we wanted to make sure that everyone is aware of this development. Do not treat the sirens with hostility unless they give you cause to. If anybody has questions, ask.

Since we have quite a few Pokémon people here and I couldn't find anything from the pokedex about it... do Wooloo need to have their coats sheared? He was born with it, so I'd guess no but I want to be sure in case it's uncomfortable.

I was also thinking that maybe we should have a Pokémon gathering to help our Pokémon socialize and mingle with other Pokémon? I do have Leafeon, but it would do them both good to meet others.

[ Her voice is a soft, gentle monotone. And aside from the slight hesitation as she speaks, there isn't much emotion in her words. ]

Also...

[ The video turns on, revealing Addi. Her hair is brushed but unstyled and a little messy. Her clothes are fancy and delicate, though they've clearly been put on somewhat incorrectly: The dangling gold ornamentation is twisted in ways they probably shouldn't be and some of the fabric is laying strangely.

This isn't why she's turned on the video, though. The feed quickly shifts to what looks to be a pile of tangled yarn. On closer inspection, though, it looks like...maybe she was trying to knit? Some of the knots and tangles have the appearance of very loose rows, though she's clearly dropped a number of stitches and the rows themselves are all over the place in terms of how tight each stitch is.

Also is that a crochet hook being used as one of the knitting needles???? It's not even the right size! ]

...What am I doing wrong?

Hello, everyone. My name is Naegi Makoto. I noticed we've had quite a few newcomers here, so I wanted to advertise the Welcome Center once again. It's a completely volunteer-run, but government assisted place to find information on the world you've found yourself in, as well as how to start living a possibly new, independent life here.

[Naegi smiles, gesturing towards the stairs behind him.]

Upstairs, we also have spaces where you can relax in. Most of the rooms have technology that can turn rooms into familiar places. It won't be exactly like home, but it should still help with some homesickness. I also don't mind lending them if you need a quieter space to write or study.

We also have plenty of volunteers who can help you with magic, technology and such. Any questions you might have will be answered to our best ability, or you will be guided somewhere you can get a proper answer.

Of course, we always welcome new volunteers. The center is open all the time, so you can pick any hours of the day too.

It has almost been a year since people from otherworlds found themselves in Ellipsa. Time does fly, doesn't it?

While I am sure there are others who have already gone home, or found themselves elsewhere, there are also those who are like me, and have been here since the beginning.

Some time last year, we had a little gathering of sorts— an Arts Festival, where people from different worlds came together to celebrate creativity and emotion through song, dance, theatre, and other forms of self-expression.

I'd like to announce that with the support of various businesses and individuals in the city, we are able to hold another one this year.

Please do let me know if you would like to help as an organiser, or if you would like your group or yourself to perform, host, or even have your own stall for your food business or other sort of business. I will definitely do my best to accommodate you all.

While more details will come in the near future, I am already announcing a new event for this year's festival— a fighting tournament! Martial arts and mystic arts are also that— art, and I'm hoping to showcase magic and various fighting styles in duel form.

I hope there will be lots of interest, and should there be any questions, you may visit the "website" our sponsors have made for this event.

I'll be happy to answer any other queries you may have that haven't been covered, too.
