Yeah! And this is a place where we live on affection, anyway, right? I mean, we live on touching people, but that's kinda the same thing anyway a lot of the time. So I guess people get close and care about each other.

Back in my world we didn't need such closeness to survivor. Here it makes sense. I have those I can count on for the bare minimum of touch energy. We've made a deal.

He has a point. It is best to ask first, I believe. I know when someone attempts to touch me suddenly, I tend to attack them in return.

But asking first will probably let you still hug as many people as before. I believe most seem to enjoy hugs.
