To deserve is to expect, and I do not feel comfortable expecting others to love me. Or treat me a certain way because they do.

It does not feel right.

Love is a gift. Let others determine if you are worthy of their love or not.

So I engineered a crisis that slowly killed off the population and then I replaced them with my puppets.

I prefer to be honest, so I do not get anyone's expectations of myself skewed.

I wanted power.

I cannot condone actions like that, but it does not mean you do not deserve love. Perhaps not from those you have hurt in the past, but your family, and those you may meet now.
