[ the video feed starts and you see a man looking at the screen. he looks a little rough, but not as rough as his clothes, which are dirty and grimy and... quite possibly stained with blood. the man himself looks mostly fine, more or less, he looks kind of worked up, like he doesn't know if he should be happy or upset. when he opens his mouth to talk, out comes a very strong british accent. ]

Right, so I've been here for a little bit now, waitin' for the other shoe to drop 'cause it can't 'ave been that easy to get away from the last place that I was at. Fuckin' shite place at that, but don't wanna spend too much time borin' y'all with all the times I've been killed and things like that. [ he casually waves a hand at that, like he didn't just mention he's been killed a lot of times ]

But I guess... the question I wanna ask is does anybody out there know if there's a way to bring others here? Got a lotta my mates still trapped in that hellhole I was at and I'm sure they'd all rather be here than there.

Hello! Um, I think I'm doing this right. My name is Veyle. I'm new here, and I... Well...

[She wonders how to introduce herself, when she doesn't actually have anything nice to say about herself. Instead, she skips past it.]

I'm looking for ways I can help people. If you have any errands you need assistance with, please, let me help! I'm also working very hard on my season powers, so I can be a strong winter mage and help more people in need. [Is 'winter mage' a thing? She's decided it's a thing. She takes a deep breath, then blows out steam like she's a mist-breathing dragon, then giggles.] See? It's not much now, but it'll get better.
