[ There's a zoom in of orange-red before it moves back to resolve itself into a long-haired man with an eyepatch on his right eye, an unlit cigarette perched on his lips. He sounds slightly agitated when he speaks. ]

Let me get this straight. I got straight up magicked or whatever here to play hero? Didn't ask for this but here we are. If it wasn't for th' fact that I was kinda in mortal-fucking-danger a few minutes before and suddenly not, I'm gonna guess this ain't a hallucination. Feels solid enough.

[ Hermes is staring into the camera with the dazed expression of someone who has awoken from slumber and is unsure if they are still in the dream or are awake. After a few moments the sound of a throat clearing and a hesitant, almost melancholic voice comes out of the man - a very familiar sight and sound to some. ]

It appears that in a literal blink of an eye, more than a fleeting moment has passed. I was not simply asleep but my very existence on this star seems to have turned into a complete absence. To close my eyes and to suddenly know that time has moved at such an exceedingly fast pace upon opening them - I would not wish that on anyone. But I did not announce my presence to wax poetic on this situation I find myself in... Rather...

[ There's a long pause as he shifts uncomfortably. ]

...Is there anyone still on this star that remembers me? [ There's just the faintest trace of hope in his eyes that seem to glow from within. ] I would be grateful for assistance. Though I will not refuse a kind stranger's help either.
