Since it seems like most people just introduce themselves like this, hello, my name is Nine. I pretty much got here just recently enough to see a bit of what this city is like and to start dabbling in season magic.

My questions are:

What's the economy like here? If you can't or choose not to seek out either employment or quests, how easy is it to get by on what's provided? Obviously having employment would make things easier because one can access more resources that way. But the markets are more...varied than where I'm from.

I've heard that the non-guild quests vary quite a bit. Does anyone have examples?

And lastly, not a question, but I'm offering my mechanical services in exchange for income. I'm the most adept with technology in my world by far and can handle anything from computer systems to large machinery like the airships here. I haven't had time to set up a workshop yet, so I'll have to work out of wherever I end up staying or on-location.
