Uhhh hey. Heh. This is weird.

[The young man on the screen rubs his hand through the back of his bright hair as his ears pin back in a show of his discomfort with addressing so many people like this (and who knows how many, he has no idea). His vividly mismatched eyes drift away from the camera for a moment before he softly clears his throat and snaps his attention back into place.]

So, uh. I'd been wondering... how people are feeling about the whole situation here. I mean, none of us asked for this. [He gives a crooked little grin, briefly flashing a sharp canine tooth, but then it fades.] I've done the whole hero thing. 'The weight of the world is on your shoulders', yadda yadda. [E'kayan's gaze shifts away again as he waves one hand in a faintly dismissive gesture.]

But I never wanted it. It just happened to me. I guess kinda like here, except here isn't as dangerous. [Yet.]

Mm... anyway... I had a point, I swear. [Uhhh. One of his ears flicks, swivels a little.] Yeah. What are people thinking? About being here, why we're here, all that stuff Olwen said when we arrived... whether or not you feel up to being some kind of saviour for this place or whatever. Feels like there's gonna be more to it, eventually... In my experience, there usually is.

[A beat.]

Ah... that's all. Thanks.
