Oh - hell.

[ He props it up. He finally seems to have sorted out exactly how to get this to record, and get his good angle. It's not like he is used to being on camera. ]

Fancy little place here. Figures that instead of getting sent to hell or somewhere else, maybe worse, I get sent somewhere totally random. And I get given some witchy powers like Red so I can help or some nonsense. Can't get a bloody break, can I? Was dying not enough?

[ He seems to find that funny, but the next part - it comes with a laugh in his voice. ]

But to make it all funnier, my little sun problem seems to be less of a problem. Not that I'm willing to fully test the theory, though.

But that's enough me time. Where do you guys for fun at night around here? Good bars? Clubs? This place has a lot more going on than Sunnydale did, so I'd love to find a new haunt.

(It's night and Padmé is on the beach, walking, barefoot, through the surf. Her dress is more like a robe, brushing against the sand with each step and her abundant hair is down, curling gently. She pauses, her toes dipping into the water just...barely.)

I can't sleep. Every time I close my eyes, I think of him; I think of all the ways I can fix what's been done. Having my hands tied here, even with the special powers, feels like a test.

I'm not as patient as I thought I was.
